The holidays and winter time are upon us. Are you ready for it?! I don’t know about you, but this time of year can get so busy, that life just turns into a constant to-do list and moving from one thing to another. 🤪 Then winter comes and the days feel long, winter blues set in and every day starts to feel like ground hog day.
Have you been there too? Maybe you already feel that way now, or maybe you don’t even realize that you are just going through the motions of life. How do you really know? Here’s some signs you may be living life on auto-pilot, with no real direction or intention...
You do things just because you think you should
You do things how everyone else does them
You lack a sense of purpose or direction in life
You are always just trying to get through the day
You haven’t changed or done anything new in a while
You don’t get excited about your day or week
You easily get lost scrolling on your phone or binging TV
You often feel absent-minded, forgetful or distracted
You have lost your creativity or sense of adventure
You often feel overwhelmed, anxious or stressed
You find it difficult to be fully focused on an activity
You find it difficult to fully engage with people
You feel restless, apathetic or like something is missing
If even a few of those things describe you, it’s time to start living a more mindful life! 💕 Because auto-pilot is no way to live. But what does it mean to live with more mindfulness? 🤔
Mindfulness is “the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something” and “a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations.”

With the chaos of the holidays just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to become more aware of what you’re doing instead of just doing things on autopilot or because “that's how it’s always been done.” That is what we are doing in my October Self Love Studio.
