When I started coaching I simply wanted to get fit. And maybe, just maybe, earn additional income each month to take the stress out of my marriage. Just a little extra. That'd allow us to breathe. That'd allow us to swipe our debit card without fear of an overdraft.
But then I fell in love. I fell in love with myself, my body, and my life. Instead of sitting on the couch hating my life each night, I had found PASSION and purpose. I was happy for the first time in years. And, I knew it was my duty to pay this happiness forward, to help other women and men fall in love with their lives too.
So, that's what I started working to do every day. I started to help as many people as possible get healthy and fit. And, I started to help other people create their own at-home fitness business. I worked hard: REALLY HARD.
I stepped out of my comfort zone to do things that terrified me. I sacrificed TV/social time in order to work more on my business.
Most people give up when they don't see immediate results. Most people give up when they face their first hater. Most people give up when they realize the amount of work that must be put in to create the "dream."
But, I came into this business knowing that it'd take work. Knowing that it wouldn't happen over night. Knowing that I'd face obstacles and challenges.
I knew that the "dream" looked like hard work on a daily basis. I expected to work hard and maybe break even because, honestly, I'm a realist. BUT because of my work ethic and diligence and faith in His plan, I took a dream to make additional income each month and created an amazing reality.
I know there are other women and men out there who are willing to work hard, who are willing to punch fear in the face, who are willing to commit to the process if it means that they can control their future. If that's YOU, then I want you on my team. I want the people who DON'T expect immediate gratification, but rather expect to work hard and, over time, their efforts will pay off. Those are the people, like me, who can grow profitable businesses over time.
